Paul Treadaway specialises in framing antique drawings, water colours and prints in an historically correct manner, incorporating modern conservation materials for the long-term preservation of artwork.

Paul Treadaway's  replica frames are copied from period originals and are made to the highest standards using traditional materials and methods. Water-gilding onto a gesso base using only gold leaf. Coloured boles mixed to subtle antique shades. Veneered, stained and polished wood frames are made using cabinet makers materials and methods. All the frames are carefully aged to give an antique appearance. Paul Treadaway has been dealing with antique art since 1970.
